This article aims to carry out an analysis of the spectatorial position as a thinking space for contemporary essay film based on comparative study two Francophone films: Face aux fantômes (Jean-Louis Comolli and Sylvie Lindeperg, 2009) Jaurès (Vincent Dieutre, 2012). The dialogism film, interpellation spectator produce self-reflection their critical about images shown, is then generated from premise identification. shows how offers audiovisual process mobilization gaze emancipated theorized by Jacques Rancière, while provokes same reflection opposite approach: fixation representation passivity.
